Restore Data from Backup

WARNING: Before you restore your databases, it is advised that you call Net•Yield Support for advice.

This option will replace current live databases with the backup copy. Data entered since the backup will be lost!

To run the Restore data from backup utility, all users must be logged out of Net•Yield, see Concurrent Users for more information on how to determine is all uses are logged out of NetYield and how to clear users from Net•Yield.

1. After selecting the Restore Databases from Backup option the following message displays: "Do you want to restore the databases? No/Yes".

 

2. A location window will appear to allow you to select a backup version of your databases.

3. A re-index window will display and the system will begin re-indexing all files automatically. The file name, database name, and time done information will display.

When re-indexing is finished, a message displays: "Restore Process Complete!!! Press space bar."

4. Press the space bar. You will exit the system and will need to login again.
